An architect and a graphic designer wanted a wedding that read like one of their portfolios — confident, restrained, and quietly bold. We built the entire palette around concrete, oxblood, and brass.
Florals were sculptural rather than soft: single-stem amaryllis in brass risers, low installations of dried palm and burgundy carnations. The dance floor was a 30-foot LED grid that pulsed with the band.
The toast that brought the house down was from Aisha's grandmother, in three languages, none of which Omar speaks. He cried anyway.
