Sophia & James

Sophia and James met at a literary bookshop in Brooklyn and built their love story over six years of slow Sundays and long walks. When it came time to plan, they wanted something that felt like an extension of those Sundays — relaxed, lush, and entirely theirs.

We designed a ceremony in a walled garden with a single sweeping arch of garden roses, ivory lisianthus, and trailing jasmine. The reception spilled across two adjoining greenhouses, lit entirely by candle and string light. No DJ — a five-piece string-and-jazz ensemble carried the night.

Their first dance was to a song the bookshop owner had played the day they met. Half the room cried. The other half got it on video.
